A student-driven third-generation robotics team
NorCal Regional Championships, 2026
We are a third-generation robotics team based in San Mateo, made up of 10 dedicated students from 8th to 12th grade united by our passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Independent from any school or organization, we collaborate to innovate, compete, and share the excitement of STEM with our community. Each year, we participate in the FIRST Tech Challenge, a global robotics competition led by FIRST, and this season's archaeology-themed challenge pushes us to design a robot that can swiftly collect and launch balls into hoppers with speed and precision.
Our team was started 16 years ago in 2010 designing robots for the lego league of FIRST. Since then, we've made it to the FIRST Championship in 2014 and again in 2016, this time in FIRST Tech Challange.
Our team is composed of two primary subteams: Mechanical Engineering and Software. Additionally, some members work on community outreach and business ontop of robot development. We come from various different schools in California with diverse interests.
